The 2026 AIG Irish Men’s Amateur Close Championship takes place at Portumna Golf Club in County Galway, Ireland. The prestigious national tournament runs from Thursday, August 13, to Saturday, August 15, 2026
We received some very good news today that our ranking in Golf Ireland top 100 golf courses has risen to No 45, great to be inside the top 50 and great to be still the number 1 parkland course in Connaught.
Congrats Sam from everyone at Portumna Golf Club. A remarkable way to open the season by winning 2026 Ein Bay open in his very first start on the Alps Tour.
